To the artist’s favourite means of artistic expression belongs oil painting. In these paintings, he reflects his personality and balances between abstract and figurative painting.

His pieces of art often have no titles and this provides the viewer with the opportunity to create their own associations.

He has been inspired by significant world and Czech authors e.g. Rembrandt, Diego Velázquez, William Turner, Gerhard Richter and Zdeněk Beran.

You can find Daniel Filip´s artwork not just at some solo or collective exhibitions, but also in many private galleries and luxurious restaurants, yet in a gallery in Belfast.

Currently, he is the vice-chairman of the Union of creative artists in the Karlovy Vary region.
